CBC St Kilda holds the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility.
The College is committed to providing a safe environment, where children and young people are safe and feel safe, and are able to actively participate in decisions that affect their lives. At CBC St Kilda we have a zero tolerance for child abuse and are committed to acting in children’s best interests and keeping them safe from harm. Central to the mission of the College is an unequivocal commitment to fostering the dignity, self-esteem and integrity of children and young people and providing them with a safe, supportive and enriching environment to develop spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
CBC St Kilda’s expectations in relation to child safety are contained in:

- the PROTECT resources and CECV Policy 2.19 PROTECT: Identifying and responding to abuse – Reporting Obligations, endorsed by the College
